From the moment you get your Biopro Canister you will find it easy to install. The built in primer, primes the filter, literally at the push of a button. The modular design enables you to customise to your aquariums filtration requirements. All media necessary is included, but if you want more media, the basket system allows room for you to customize and add your own. Unique to the Biopro range is the very clever non leak adjustable tank fittings which allow you to avoid tricky plumbing and simply push in or pull out the extendable fittings for a customised fit for both the height and width of your aquarium. Maintenance is a breeze with the quick release taps and sturdy clips. Simply turn off and disconnect the taps and start your maintenance…..without spills or mess.
The Biopro Canister range has a sophisticated mechanical and biological filtration system, with coarse sponge to remove any floating dirt and debris. Ceramic NAustralialisteds and BioMax sponge filled Bio Balls create a huge surface area for good nitrite neutralizing bacteria which are vital to maintain water quality and the health of your fish, while Activated Carbon helps remove odours and discoloration from the water. The UVC sterilizer kills water borne bacteria, viruses and algae ensuring incredible water heath, clarity and preventing the spread of diseases within the aquarium. The plastic housing around the UVC bulb is specially designed to swirl the water around the bulb for maximum exposure and also serves the added benefit of protecting the bulb from breakage during routine maintenance. The superior motor provides a good flow rate and is very quiet.
