1978 pe 250, restored in BURRA, New South Wales for sale
1978 pe 250,just finished restoration, set up for dirt track, change the suspension in the rear and it is set up for vmx. Was running but has been sitting for nearly a year.
The bike is road registerable and has an Australian compliance plate. The wiring would need to me replaced for lights etc... and lights would need to be fitted, i have the light sensors, speedo, tail light, the levers have holes to mount mirrors also.
New 1978 rm plastic kit, the tank is origional, has had a small plastic weld done on it but in great condition.
Koni adjustable rear suspension, hight/damper,
Doma racing pipe,
Polished forks and triple clamps, mirror finish,
The seat has been professionally re-trimmed,
Race plugs,
New pirelli scorpion mx front tyre and near new vee rubber trials tyre on the rear.
Keihin flat slide carby,
The front sprocket cover mount had been broken off the crank case so brackets have been made to mount the chain cover on.
The frame, swing arm and many other parts were sand blasted and painted in quality ppg 2k black paint.
The wheels have been cleaned up and lightly polished, looking great.
Comes with loads of spares, spare engine, swing arm, wheels, standard carby, 2 sets of forks, 1 set are shortened about 2 inches, 2 sets of triple trees, standard exhaust, spare rear shocks plus 2 buckets of smaller parts. Needs a carby tune up and new sump plug washer. Costed me over 4k to restore, Ridden once since restoration, want it gone, $1800 firm
